2024 CBYCC Season Hiring is Open!

The Clearwater Basin Youth Conservation Corps (CBYCC) is now accepting applications for open positions for the summer 2024 season. The CBYCC program is a paid youth program offering local youth an opportunity to experience the outdoors in a workplace setting while also providing a fun learning environment and exposure to traditional skills.Thirty crew openings are based out of Grangeville, Kamiah/Kooskia, Pierce, and Potlatch. Each crew is comprised of a 5-person team of youth ages 16–18 and one adult crew leader. Two Wilderness Trail crew in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness are also being filled for the most remote experience. Crew members earn $15/hr.The CBYCC is also hiring three adult crew leads based in Kooskia, Orofino, and Potlatch.Wages for leads start at $20/hr. depending on experience.Tentative dates for the 2024 season are June 10 - August 2.  For more information and to apply visit https://cbycc.clearwater-eda.orgor call (208) 746-0015.Applications accepted until April 19.The CBYCC is a program of the Clearwater Economic Development Association, with funding and support from partners including USDA Forest Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, Idaho Firewise, Latah County, Latah Soil and Water Conservation District, and Nez Perce Tribe.
