2024 Member Report
We’re excited to share activities at CEDA over the past year. We are broadening and expanding our commitment to be a conduit of resources for North Central Idaho. What I’m most excited about is our talent acquisition. Mariah Miller joined us as Community Development Specialist, bringing her exceptional community relations and coordination skills to the position. She is managing our open community development projects and has started development work with communities in our region. We doubled our business development staff, with the arrival of Sam Mager as Business Finance Specialist. Sam is handling most facets of the loan program under John Lane’s mentorship and has increased marketing/outreach. If you have or know of businesses seeking financing in our region, reach out to John and Sam! Finally, we have Economic and Community Development Assistant Kaleena Moulton. She is devoting her time assisting Planning Manager Deb Smith on our planning and coordination initiatives – new efforts include the Get Healthy Initiative and Early Childhood Learning, as well as our upcoming regional economic development strategy update.
Thank you CEDA leadership, Board Chair Cari Miller, Vice-Chair Kathie LaFortune, our Board of Directors, and all the other volunteers that participate on our program councils and committees.
We are here for you. The staff at CEDA is available to help you navigate a project idea or meet with a business that is seeking assistance
